OVERCOMING THE STRUGGLES OF

IMPOSTER SYNDROME
IN HYPNOSIS PRACTICE

Are you feeling that nagging self-doubt creeping in as you venture into the world of hypnosis? You’re not alone. Many therapists, healers, and change agents grapple with the fear of inadequacy, wondering if they’re truly qualified to lead others. Let’s dig into those fears together:

QUESTIONING YOUR QUALIFICATIONS: Am I really qualified to do this work?” It’s easy to feel like an imposter, especially when stepping into new territory. But remember, your unique experiences and insights are invaluable assets.

WORRYING ABOUT YOUR CONFIDENCE: “What if I lack the confidence to lead someone into hypnosis?” The fear of not being able to guide others can be paralyzing. But with practice and community support, you’ll find your voice and strength.

FEAR OF REJECTION: “What if no one wants my services?” The thought of being overlooked can be daunting. Yet, there’s a community ready to uplift and support you, reinforcing that your services are needed and valuable.

CONCERNS ABOUT EFFECTIVENESS: What if it doesn’t work or I mess up?” The pressure to perform perfectly can be overwhelming. However, through the HypnoSistah™ Collective, you’ll practice with peers, receive feedback, and learn to embrace imperfection as a stepping stone to growth.

WHO THIS IS FOR

AN intentional
selection process

While not a secret initiation, our selection process is intentionally low-key and grounded in community. Candidates typically come to us through word-of-mouth or recommendations from respected elders, leaders, healers, or change agents who have witnessed their dedication and passion. Given the profound nature of the HypnoSistah™ Method, we seek individuals who will approach this powerful healing tool with respect and humility, embodying the character traits necessary for responsible practice.

The ideal candidates for our training program are mental health practitioners, holistic healers, social change agents, and passionate enthusiasts eager to learn an effective and transformative tool. We welcome those who aspire to help clients and consumers break free from the constraints of colonial practices and navigate the ‘glass ceilings’ that hinder their upward mobility. Together, we aim to empower individuals to reach their goals and thrive in life and business.

Love working with gena

"I simply love working with Gena. I have been to hypnotherapy twice before and didn’t get anything helpful that I’ve retained or used afterward. Gena’s skills have been a saving grace during anxiety attacks. Our sessions are always so enlightening and give me so much understanding of myself and my life so that I can make the necessary changes for growth. She is so down-to-earth and earthy; I love her holistic approach. She is unlike any therapist I’ve ever met.”
