  • Who qualifies to take this course?
    This course is for those who practice from an anti-oppression, anti-racist and decolonizing lens that seeks to mitigate systemic harm through hypnosis. It is inclusive of professional hypnotists, hypnotherapists, healers and enthusiasts who are 18 years old or older, have a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university, and prioritize the empowerment and healing of BIPOC communities that have been marginalized
  • How is this course different from others?
    This course specifically supports people who want to embody a decolonizing, anti-oppressive, and liberation focused approach to hypnosis that reveres cultural, ancestral and ancient wisdom and is inclusive of communities with intersectional identities.
  • How long is the course?
    The course totals 100 hours and comprises virtual live sessions, pre-recorded videos, audio recordings, worksheets, practice sessions, resource sharing, and more. After requirements are met, students shall be awarded the designation of Certified Professional Hypnotist or Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist (a title reserved for students with current licensure and education as a mental health, medical, or other licensed professional).
  • Will I obtain certification?
    Yes. We are an approved education provider for hypnosis training. After completing 100 hours of course materials and requirements, the student shall be certified as a Certified Professional Hypnotist or a Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist (for licensed mental health or medical professionals). Students are responsible for paying an annual fee to maintain membership and certification (approximately $50 annually). However, the first year is included in your HypnoSistah Academy course fees.
  • Can I offer hypnosis services upon completing the course?
    Yes, by the end of the course, you will have the knowledge, skills, and confidence to offer hypnosis through a decolonized, culturally informed, and liberation-focused approach to future clients. Your professional hypnotist certification makes you more reputable and marketable to potential customers
  • What is the cost of the course?
    Option One: The 100-hour HypnoSistah Academy course costs $1,500 Weekly live sessions Pre-recorded video sessions Audio recordings Facebook community supportive environment, Group Q&A sessions Live and recorded demonstrations Student practice sessions and feedback. Option Two: 1:1 Online Training Program 10 (ten) one-to-one coaching costs $1, 650 Must have completed a hypnosis training course Personalized coaching and training via phone, video conferencing and texting. Admittance to Facebook Group Will receive the same high-quality teaching materials, resources, time and care as group students
  • Do you offer a payment plan?
    Yes. You can pay in full or choose a payment plan through Paypal or Klarna.

    This course emphasizes decolonial perspectives to ensure the practice of hypnosis is aligned with liberation and culturally relevant approaches, empowering marginalized communities to reclaim and celebrate their healing traditions.
  • Is this a self-directed course?
    This course is primarily instructor-facilitated. However, it also comprises synchronous and asynchronous teaching methods, including video classes, live and recorded demonstrations, audio recordings, and reading materials.
  • How long will I have access to the course?
    You will access the course content up to 12 months from the initial payment.
  • Will I have access to the facilitator?
    Yes, the course instructor shall have weekly live Q&A sessions where you can bring your questions and engage directly. Also, you can email the instructor when questions arise.
